EXCERPT: Don Ross would bring decades worth of political experience to a transformed Hamilton council that could possibly have several new councillors who have never sat around the horseshoe table before.
“I have the capacity to get things done,” said Ross, who registered to run in Ward 14 for this fall’s municipal election. “I do have a lot of experience.”
The run for Ward 14 was prompted by several council decisions Ross disagreed with, along with the constant “infighting” that was on display in council over the last several years.
“There is a lot of discourse,” said Ross, who lives outside the ward. “That is off-putting to the public. Council should be working together.”
